Cycle Sunday at Marcus Dairy in Danbury, CT. Apr. 27, 2003 / July 13, 2003 & Oct. 5, 2003

Guardians MC would like to first thank  Marcus Dairy for squeezing us in last minute to this event. This was a smoothly run operation. The day couldn't have been better for riders to come out and listen to great music, eat great food and see great stuff for the motorcycle enthusiast. It was especially nice to meet some new people like Matthew Schultz, our neighbor from Gel from Hell. "For your feet or in your seat", if you like to ride, you need this stuff. A shout out also to New York's Finest and Bravest who stopped bye to say hello and to the many other local Law Enforcement, Firefighter and Public Safety personnel as well. For the many we haven't seen in a while, Mr. Mayor and other old friends, thanks for chatting up old times and see you all next time. Guardians MC would also like to thank Playboy Playmate Wendy June for taking time to pose with our members and bikes on a cool October.

President Guardians MC Litchfield County

4th Annual Shelly Vogel Run

August weekend of the 23rd 2003

As President of the Litchfield County Guardians MC, I would just like to write for a moment about Shelly and the gathering for 3 out of the 4 years that we participated in this run.  Shelly Vogel was a Correctional medic at the MacDougall Facility in Suffield who off duty was stung by a bee, had serious complications, went into coma and passed 6 days later. Our heart goes out to Shelly's friends and family. We support this run and encourage all who look at our site to look for next years date and ride along. Special thanks go out to our friends Snake (Shelly's husband), Linda, Rick, Caroline, Chris, Tink, Diane, Cindy and the Dept. of Correction who had Officer MacKenzie a Canine Officer and his dog there . There are more involved in organizing this run and apologize if I left anyone out. Everyone is always treated like gold and the food included was fantastic. Monies raised from this ride go toward  scholarships for seniors who will be majoring in criminal justice, medical field and or veterinary medicine. Shelly was a big animal lover and a portion of monies raised also go to Helping Paws Foundation. Enough writing, hope to see you all next year.

JJEnd of the year info:

On December 16th, Guardians MC along with two other charitable organizations were given Club of The Year awards presented by Connecticut Cruise News. These awards were to thank our organizations for the work we do in raising monies and supporting charitable functions throughout this area.

Also, Guardians MC member Leo MacDonald who is an EMT/Firefighter was awarded Man of the Year for his efforts in being a first responder and helping a heart attack victim at an event this summer.

Our thanks go out to Connecticut Cruise News and their staff for recognizing the good that comes out with being in a motorcycle organization.

A Special Guardians MC Thank You to Ms. Garl-goyl 2003

For your volunteer work during the 2003 year and putting up with all of us as well as many "man prints" we say thank you.  Your efforts helped us raise over 400.00 for the Gear-Up run to NYC on 9-11-03.
