On June 27, 2004, the Torrington Fire Dept. along with its local union held their 3rd Annual motorcycle Run to raise funds for the Bridgeport Burn Center. The ride was well routed and lasted about 80 miles through Litchfield County and ended up near New Hartford for some fun, food, and refreshments. I would like to thank the hard work these firemen do every year getting this run which is growing in numbers. I believe there were over 200 bikes who came out to support this cause. My hat goes off the Torrington FD and their union for a job well done. I would also like to than Riders Cafe in Waterbury for being hospitable and accommodated us for a nice 20 minute downtime for a half way break prior to riding the last 40 miles to out final destination.
Here a just a couple pics we hope you will enjoy
( Look for the review on this run by Big Guns through CT Cruise News after July 9th.)

Law Dogs Picnic at the Cadillac Ranch in Southington, CT. July 10, 2004
I would like to thank President Steve and crew from the Law Dogs for putting on a great party which lasted all afternoon. Music was provided by the Whiskey River Band who were great. Vendors were also on site such as the Bookman and our friend Steve who has a great leather and other biker clothing shop on Rt. 6 in Terryville. Also, the publisher from CT Cruise News came by with free papers and complimentary tickets to the next Super Sunday on September 26, 2004 at the Hartford Expo. Thanks for the freebees Don. And a lot of ink was slung from the artist there (sorry about the name blank bro) but he was busy all day. Here are a few pics of this event provided by the Felon.

Law Dogs , Guardians MC and Red Knights Chapter IV joint function / benefit run for Marshall John Rosa.s
This function began at the Cadillac Ranch in Southington, CT. Marshall Rosa suffered a severe heart attack while mowing his lawn. He suffers still with his motor skills due to the lack of oxygen to his brain that day. He was present for this function in which approximately 150 bikes strong came out to support this cause. The ride left the Cadillac Ranch and headed to Avon and back to the Ranch for a great party afterwards. All I can say was love was in the air. Enjoy the pics I can post. LOL.s

5th Annual Shelly Vogel Memorial Run
First, myself and the rest of the Guardians MC wish to thank the wonderful people who have welcomed us for the forth year supporting this worthy event. So thank you Elaine, Caroline, Cindy, Snake and all others who devote their time putting this ride together. Despite the weather over 100 bike showed up and rode out the storm at one of the stops along the route, Sneakers Cafe. But since the weather was not gonna give us a break, the hard riding crew continued on with the ride back to the Italian Club in Stafford Springs. A great band and food (which was supplied during every stop and the beginning of this run even at the end) could not have been better. Three scholarships were also handed out in Shelly's name to three students wishing to continue on with their education in the medical field. The party also got bigger from those who attended the end party but did not wish to go on the stormy ride. All in all this was again a great success. Enjoy some of the pics from this event.
American Soldiers Benefit Ride. October 3, 2004.
Guardians MC would like to thank Laurie Squires ( founder of ASB ) and crew for a job well done at organizing this well planned event to help support our troops overseas. Over one hundred bikers showed their support for this first year event. The 55 mile ride was lead out of Cromwell by Police escort and continued this venture through the back roads of Portland, Moodus, Haddam and back. Their were plenty of road guards to include help from the Blue Knights. The ride was safe and fun and returned to Burke's Digger McDuff's Tavern in Cromwell to fun music, food, raffles and a bike show which Guardians MC member Ink Boy took first place for (ahem) "best foreign" Enjoy the pics. .
Guardians MC Member of the Year / End of this years Party
On December 5th, Guardians MC ended this year with a party/dinner at the Lodge in Southbury. Thanks to the ownership and staff for always making us welcome at this fine establishment. This organization raised over 5500.00 dollars for causes we supported this 04 season. A big part of that was the almost sole support our Vice President Walt "Sic Boy" Eichner did in putting together the Lt. Anthony Tramontano benefit. Great job Walt.
We ended our party by thanking all in this club and their spouses and or girlfriends for putting up with us for being gone a lot during the riding months and winter to selfishly help others in need. Mostly from the Public Safety field.
Also, last but not least, we honored one member who has continually gone above and beyond in this club and continues to inspire us to do the same. EMT/Firefighter Leo MacDonald was given a plaque and 50.00 for his dedication to this Organization. Great job brother.
We will see you all soon in 05. Happy Holidays and be safe to all our Brothers and Sisters in the Public Safety field. "Big Guns".
